Music Group

The Music Group provides musical/vocal support to worship twice a month at the 10 am Sunday services and on other occasions such as major festivals, the Memorial Service, and the Crib Service.

The group is always seeking to introduce new pieces in a range of styles to enhance the musical life of the Church.

New members, singers and musicians, are always welcome and practices are held on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of each month at 11.30 am.

Enthusiasts wanted! Do you love singing and wish that you could do more than just sing the hymns on a Sunday? Come and join the Music Group and help us support the worship at St. Peter’s by either becoming a regular member of the group or joining us as one of our additional singers for special occasions such as the Carol Service and Songs of Praise. The group sings in the Sunday 10am service on the first and third Sundays of the month and usually rehearses after the service on those days.

For the special services a full rehearsal schedule is provided. You don’t have to be able to read music perfectly but enthusiasm, an ability to sing in tune and commit to most rehearsals is needed.  So whether young, old, male or female, high or low voice why not give us a try? For further information contact Lynn Skryzpecka on 01932 232873 or see her in church.

Creche/Children's Room

Children aged 0 - 4 years may be taken to the Violet Sedgebeer Room at the back of St Peter's Church during the 10 am Sunday morning services.

Our team of sidespeople is essential to the smooth running of services, welcoming people to Church, setting up before and clearing up after. The rota covers the main Sunday services at 8 am,10 am and also other major services.
