Directions to St Peter's Church Hersham

By train, the nearest station with a taxi rank is Walton-on-Thames Station.

By car, there is usually space to park in the roads near the Church. There is also a large car park behind the shops and Waitrose Supermarket opposite the Green. Access to the car park is from the Molesey Road.

From the M25:

Either,

from Junction 11, take the A317 to Weybridge and then follow the directions, below, from Weybridge,

or,

from Junction 10, take the A3 north towards Esher and turn left at the first exit, the A245. Then follow the directions, below, from Cobham

From Cobham:

Take the A245 towards Byfleet and cross over the A3. Immediately after the roundabout over the A3, take the right hand lane and turn right at the traffic lights into Seven Hills Road. Follow this for 1½ miles to a roundabout; turn right into Burwood Road. Follow Burwood Road for 1½ miles. St Peter’s Church is on the right at the junction with Burhill Road.

From Esher:

Follow the A244 towards Walton, over the river Mole and along the dual carriageway to the Barley Mow roundabout. At the Barley Mow roundabout turn left into the Molesey Road.

Follow the Molesey Road for 400 yards. At the mini-roundabout at the Green take the first exit into Burwood Road, keeping the Green on your right. St Peter’s Church is 400 yards on the left at the corner of Burwood and Burhill Roads.

From Hampton Court Bridge:

Turn right immediately after crossing the Thames and follow Hurst Road for 2 miles. Soon after reaching the reservoirs on the right, turn left into Weston Avenue. Turn right into Walton Road, which then becomes Molesey Road. Follow this for 2 miles to the lights and narrow railway bridge at Hersham Station; continue for a further half-mile to the roundabout by the Barley Mow. Go straight ahead keeping on the Molesey Road.

Follow the Molesey Road for 400 yards. At the mini-roundabout at the Green take the first exit into Burwood Road, keeping the Green on your right. St Peter’s Church is 400 yards on the left at the corner of Burwood and Burhill Roads.

From Walton Bridge:

Take the centre lane at the traffic lights immediately after the Bridge into New Zealand Avenue. Go through lights at a pedestrian crossing and at a junction with restaurants on your left to the lights at the end of New Zealand Avenue. Keep in the left lane, past the Cinema on your left and into Hersham Road. Follow Hersham Road for 1 mile through 2 mini-roundabouts, traffic lights, under the railway bridge and a 3rd mini-roundabout to the lights at the end of Robinsway. Turn left into the dual carriageway, Hersham By-pass, and at the roundabout, with the Barley Mow on the right, turn right into Molesey Road.

Follow the Molesey Road for 400 yards. At the mini-roundabout at the Green take the first exit into Burwood Road, keeping the Green on your right. St Peter’s Church is 400 yards on the left at the corner of Burwood and Burhill Roads.

From Weybridge:

Take the A317 towards Hersham and Esher. After a double roundabout by the cricket ground the A317 becomes Queens Road. Follow this for about 3 miles through lights and roundabouts until it becomes the A244 and then, after traffic lights, a dual carriageway. At the next roundabout, with the Barley Mow on the right, turn right into Molesey Road.

Follow the Molesey Road for 400 yards. At the mini-roundabout at the Green take the first exit into Burwood Road, keeping the Green on your right. St Peter’s Church is 400 yards on the left at the corner of Burwood and Burhill Roads.
