Vauxmead is a 2.5 acre field located opposite St Peter’s Church, Hersham. Left in the will of local benefactor Mr Vaux in 1933 and held in trust, the field is managed by St Peter's with the aim of encouraging community use.
Vauxmead is a great venue for children’s sporting activities such as football and athletics. The field is surrounded by a 5ft holly hedge that gives privacy and facilitates safeguarding. Its location in central Hersham is close to shops and parking. The grounds are maintained regularly.
